Case 2, Achilles Tendinitis
Patient, woman, 57, worker. His main complaint is a persistent pain of the surrounding areas of the right Achilles tendon for 4 months, and the pain is aggravated by walking, is sometimes a feeling of electric shock.
She took nonsteroidal but ineffective anti-inflammatory drugs, the site of pain is located at the back of the outside and inside the ankle.
There is a lump behind the right outer ankle, soft texture, softer than cysts and lipomas, size 5 cm x 6 cm, with sensitivity, the local skin color is normal.Fig. 3.
X-ray: no abnormal.
Ultrasound examination showed that there was an obvious area of thickening on the spindle-shaped Achilles tendon, 8.5 mm in diameter, accompanied by bleeding, no cracks and calcification, no abnormal finding on the attachment point and joint part with the Achilles tendon muscle, and the conclusion was a simple Achilles tendinitis.
