Patient, man, 33 years, third, fourth fingers, in relation to the distal, dorsal, chapped skin, pain (Fig.93) for 12 years, the cause is unknown, because the summer is the same, he never went to the hospital examination, meanwhile hang two years. He stopped drunk the problem disappeared, re-drink again, he came back, but he avoided wine for another year, no improvement, persistent pain.
Clinical examination: There was no abnormal skin color and no deformity in the hand. The other parts do not have chapped skin. There is a synovial cyst on the palm of the right thumb without pain.
Diagnosis: Third, fourth fingers of the left hand, dorsal skin of the divided interphalangian joint chapped; Synovial cyst of the right thumb
Treatment: Acupuncture, after the needle lets the patient move the left hand, the pain is gone. Keep the needle for 20 minutes. Two weeks later, the patient stated that the left hand had practically recovered (Fig.94), no pain, but the cyst of the right hand did not change.
